Tim Eyman (AKA as the Devil) wore a Darth Vader costume to Olympia on Monday, as look at this shiny object, The news media expected him to file signatures on Monday Well today he came up short when it was time to hand over the required signatures to get a vote to over turn Washington state’s new gay civil-rights law.

Former state Republican Party Chairman Chris Vance blasted Eyman, per this story in the Seattle PI

“Now he’s coming in and hijacking issues and shoving his way into an issue because it’s become a business for him. It’s how he gets paid,” Vance said. “There will be no end to Tim Eyman as long as people are wiling to send him money … I think it’s hurting the legitimate perception of the initiative process. When you’ve got a clown out there in a Darth Vader suit lying to the press and things like that, it’s not good for the initiative and referendum process.”

I don’t normally agree with Chris Vance but this time he hit the nail on the head.
